Changing your self talk by using positive affirmations is a well known solution for enhancing your self image.

In this article I would like to introduce you to another solution that will play a key role in enhancing your self image and creating for you a life of ease, a way in which is becoming more and more popular as a means of personal development.

The solution I am talking about is the removal of Disease in your life.

In order to move forward you must first remove any areas in your life that are causing disease and holding you back. Whether it be an old belief system, a bad habit, stress or tension around a certain situation or person, disease is simply holding on to old energy that has been tied up with a past of future event, situation or trauma. Which keeps an element of your energy and focus (be it consciously or subconsciously) in the past or future.

This means you do not have 100% of your energy available to use in the present moment.

If I was to ask most people in society the question, what causes disease? The following would be a list of some typical reactions;

-    Germs
-    Being Fat
-    Stress
-    Having no Energy and being run down
-    Cancer
-    Illness
-    Infection
-    Injury
-    You pick it up, its contagious

None of which would be true.

Society has become very clever at linking the symptoms of an illness and/or injury and then diagnosing these as some form of disease. However, disease is actually the issue that created the symptoms in the first place. The above answers do play a role in the disease process but they are never the actual cause of the disease.

Before I explain what causes disease I would first like to ask you what you think disease is?

In the Activate Your Weight Loss Book I mention how your thoughts and feelings create your reality on this planet. Your beliefs formulate your choices on how to react on these thoughts and feelings and your behaviours create the physical element of the thoughts and feelings to manifest what is essentially your external world or your life.

Therefore

Your physical body and the world you to choose to observe are a manifestation of how you think and feel mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically.

So what would it mean if you did not have complete EASE in all aspects of your life?

It would mean that you would have some form of DISEASE.

Disease is simply DIS  EASE.

DIS = To move away from

EASE = Comfort or a feeling of effortlessness

In the following eight article series I will look to educate you on how you can greatly improve your overall health, well being and life, simply by removing the underlying mental, emotional or spiritual issues in your life that manifest as disease in your physical body.
