I recently had a close call when I spilled hot wax all over my hand; a mixture of “mental” EFT combined with physical tapping not only took care of the pain, it resulted in a perfect cure---no blister, no redness, no pain.
I was changing the candles in my jack-o-lantern the other day; one votive had just gone out. I reached in to pick it up and hot wax poured all over my right hand. It hurt like crazy and I was stunned for a second, and since my right hand is my primary tapping hand and my left hand was momentarily full, I couldn’t start tapping. I visualized the tapping points, as if they were all lit up, and began to tap mentally. I went right to the eyebrow, figuring that since I was in the middle of the trauma, I was unlikely to be reversed. Here was the first part of the sequence, done silently as I rushed over to the kitchen sink:
EB: this pain SE: this hot wax UE: this burning wax UN: this hurts so much CP: why did I do that? CB: can’t believe I spilled this wax
By this time, I was at the sink, and I shoved my hand under cold running water, tapping now with my left hand: EB: this burning pain SE: this burn UE: this really hurts UN: ouch ouch ouch CP: can’t believe I did this CB: my poor hand UA: this pain Top of Head: all this pain and burning
I stopped tapping, and now the wax was cooled. I gently rubbed off the wax and there was no sign of any burn, no pain, and no redness. It was as if there had never been any sort of problem at all! Once again, EFT works right in the middle of trauma and pain and dissolves the problem.
