Can't say 'NO' To Sugar and Sweets?

EFT Cravings Tapping Not Working? Find Out Why: EFT Cravings

Method A)

1 - Take notice when you are going to eat something sweet

2 - Right before eating it, tap - Even though I'm going to eat this and nothing or no one is going to stop me... I acknowledge the feelings I have in my body, right here right now.

3 - Stop for a moment, close your eyes and tune into your body. Notice any sensations in your body and what emotions come up for you i.e. sadness, loneliness, anger, blame, guilt, despair etc.

4 - Tap on the emotion i.e. loneliness. If the emotion will not shift sufficiently, then ask yourself what this emotion and feeling in your body reminds you of. You may get some good clues i.e. as a kid coming home from school to a empty house and eating something sweet before other family members came home. A childhood a bedtime snack, a reward for being good... etc.

Method B)

1 - Tune into the sugary treat or food with your imagination. Imagine how it looks, the color, the smell, feel the texture as you hold it and put it in your mouth, the taste... etc.

2 - Locate in your body where you feel this craving as you imagine yourself about to eat the sweet.

3 - Tune into this spot and ask... "Is there something that needs healing or clearing? or Something that needs filling i.e. a void?" Listen very closely to what comes up.

If neither of the above approaches give you anything to go on, some other things to investigate/tap on may be;

1) hidden loyalties attached to a sweet food i.e. my grandma loved sweets and to give it up would be denying my respect/love for her

2) rebellion i.e. "my mother told me not to eat so much sugar and sweets and I will eat as much as I please... because I am a freedom seeking being"
