Reduce Stress and Anxiety: 4 EFT 'No Brainer' Techniques!
Do you forget to tap because you are so anxious, stressed out or overwhelmed? Here are are four easy-to-learn tapping methods called, EFT Simple Tapping Techniques or STT's. We just need to notice that we are ‘out-of-sorts' i.e. stressed, worried, angry, frustrated etc. and begin to tap using one of the following techniques;
1 - Table Edge Karate Chops
Sitting or standing at a table, with the karate chop point of your hand and lightly tap it on the edge of the table. Stimulating this EFT point will help us connect to the present moment. ‘The Power of Now'
2 - Collar Bone Point
A favorite one point technique for many EFT folks! When we are anxious or stressed, tapping this point can really help us calm down! In Chinese Medicine, the CB point stimulates the adrenal glands and will help reduce stress levels.
3 - Thigh/Upper Leg Tap
To feel more calm and peaceful, tap on your upper leg/thigh just above your knee. This energy meridian connects to the stomach and solar plexus. Tapping here has a calming and grounding affect. This STT really helps to reduce anxiety!
4 - Single Handed Tapping
Courtesy of Dr. David Lake from Australia, this technique is done with only one hand. Use the thumb tap on or just press the points on each finger of that same hand. For the left hand, palm down, the thumb would tap or press on the right side of each fingernail. This easy EFT tapping method stimulates several meridians and has a wonderful overall calming and soothing affect.
