Recently, a client emailed me with a question about how to do pre-sleep gratitude tapping using EFT. Her goal is to use gratitude to increase abundance in several areas of her life. Here is my answer. Here's to an abundant you! - Karen

P.S. I hope it offers you some helpful ideas. If you have any questions please feel free to send me a message via my web site at: www.TapIntoEFT.com

7 Ways You Can Tap on Gratitude... to Boost Your Abundance

Gratitude is a very important part of allowing and attracting more abundance into our life.

Practicing the art of intentional gratitude on a regular basis really is like... super charging abundance!

Also, going to sleep with positive thoughts and feelings around being grateful allows us to sleep more deeply and peacefully. I find when I tap on gratitude just prior to falling asleep, I wake up feeling much more energized and rejuvenated.

EFT is very flexible and there are lots of different ways you can tap on topic or subject. Here are 7 pre-sleep gratitude tapping approaches.

To really focus and connect before doing gratitude tapping or any type of EFT take a moment to ground your self or do take a moment to do an EFT Breathing technique such as this one;

7 Ways to Tap on Gratitude to Boost Abundance!

1 - Use the set up and karate chop (you can come up with your own statements)!

KC - ET I sometimes forget to express gratitude throughout the day... IDACAMS!

KC - ET I may overlook the abundance that is around me each and every day... I choose to express my gratitude now!

KC - ET at times, I take things for granted... I want to express how grateful I am right here... right now!

TH - I am grateful for___________ (use the same statement/subject for each point or you can mix them up - however, try to keep it simple if you are new to EFT!

EB - Thank you for ____________

SE - I appreciate ______________

UE - I have gratitude for ________

UN - I give thanks for _________

CH - I have appreciation for______

CB - Thank you for ___________

UA - I am grateful for _________

Take a slow deep breath and allow what you said and felt to flow through your entire body. Repeat or change rounds as you see fit.

2 - Skip the set up... and just tap the body points.

3 - Just tap one point i.e. the karate chop or collar bone while saying the gratitude statements or affirmations.

3 - Mental or imaginary tapping. Say the statements quietly while you imagine tapping the EFT tapping points. This works great when you are too tired to lift your hand/arm.

5 - One handed or single hand tapping. Use the thumb of one hand to tap on or just press the points on each finger of the same hand. For the left hand the thumb would tap or press on the right side of each finger nail.

6 - Finger tip tapping. Lightly tap the tips of your right hand with the tips on your left. There are points on the ends of the fingers.

7 - As you lay on your back in bed rest your hands gently on your upper lap. Start with the little finger on either hand, press the finger tip down and say a gratitude statement then proceed in sequence with all of your fingers

Example; little finger left hand: I am grateful for my curious nature - ring finger left hand: thank you for all of the opportunities in my life to express my creativity - middle finger left hand: I so appreciate learning new things - pointer left hand: I am grateful for my company where I can create and innovate etc... all the way over to the little finger on the right hand. This would be 10 gratitude statements.

Gratitude tapping or any type of EFT tapping need not be complicated, especially when you first start learning. You can pick just one topic/subject to be grateful for and repeat it for all of the body points or finger tips.

Remember to include gratitude for non-physical things as well as the physical -- Things such as creativity, curiosity, wonder, love, imagination, expression, wisdom, humor, freedom of choice etc.

Its important to connect to your body (specifically your heart) and breath slowly and fully while you are gratitude tapping. This helps the message get through to every cell in your body and beyond! :)

Happy and abundant tapping to you! Karen
