My boyfriend and I are in the process of looking for an apartment to
move into. We are both vacating our present locations to move in
together so when our leases end on July 1st, like most places in
Montreal, we MUST be gone.
We (I) have a million specifications and only a few areas of the city
where we're willing to live at the moment. He, I noticed, is very relaxed and nonchalant about it all. He assumes we will find the perfect
apartment exactly where we want it within our price range for the date we want it.
That worked for him last year when he sold his house and had to be out
by June 1st. Two weeks before he moved he didn't have a box packed and
hadn't yet found a place to live yet it all worked out wonderfully for him.
I found that, despite my Law of Attraction knowledge and training, I
was having trouble trusting the process and just looking forward to our
great place manifesting effortlessly for us. I was feeling anxious that we haven't
found the apartment yet and worried that we won't find a nice place in
the area we want within our price range. Realizing this wasn't very
helpful to our searching or finding, I decided to tap:
Even though we'll never find a place like we want, I completely love and accept myself.
Reminder phrases: We'll never find it. It's impossible to find exactly what we want. It simply doesn't exist.
Even though I'm afraid we'll have to settle live somewhere gross if we
wait to long to choose, I completely love and accept myself.
Reminder phrases: We'll have to live somewhere gross. It's taking too long. The date is getting close. We'll have to settle.
Even though I'm worried that we'll be out in the street when our leases end, I completely love and accept myself.
Reminder phrases: We'll have nowhere to live. We'll have no place to
put our stuff. We'll be out in the street. We'll have to live with
relatives!!!
Now, I must comment that the phrase just below might seem a bit over the top
to people who don't live in Quebec. Believe me, when the entire province moves on
the same day being able to find a moving company or a rental truck is a real
concern. :)
Even though I'm afraid we won't find anyone to move us, I completely love and accept myself.
Reminder phrases: We won't find a truck. We will have to pay a ton for
movers. We won't be able to move and the other people won't be able to
move in. We'll cause a huge mess because we're not organized.
Well, after tapping, I wasn't immediately aware of the benefits but I find that I no
longer have that urgent feeling I as getting when I look at apartment listings.
I don't feel like "I HAVE TO FIND IT NOW!!!!"
If people I speak to seem surprised
that we haven't found one yet and they look alarmed, I don't feel
alarmed any more and I'm finding it easier to go through the listings and
immediately see if there is anything that interests me. When there
isn't, I don't waste any more time looking. I'm able to just let it go
and know that there will be a great one coming up soon.
I'll keep you posted as we get closer to the date. :)
Happy tapping!
