As the managing partner for the film "Simply Raw - Reversing Diabetes in 30 Days" (www.Rawfor30days.com) I've had a chance to see the ins and outs of the raw food community. I've spoken to countless people who have healed their bodies by changing their diet from a processed, unnatural SAD diet (Standard American Diet) to a whole, raw, live foods diet.
It's amazing the changes I've seen. I've seen diabetes cured (which is obviously the topic of our film), I've seen cancer cured, I've seen massive weight loss and I've seen a number of other chronic illnesses entirely reversed. All of these changes simply by changing diet.
It is so clear to me from having been in this community and having changed my diet to a roughly 90% raw food diet that "we are what we eat."
But if it's so clear to me than why don't more people eat this way? Why aren't more doctors talking to their clients about the benefits of a raw food lifestyle?
Here is where it gets complicated. For starters, we're very entrenched in a big business system that cares more about bottom line profits than customer care. Drug companies and food companies are constantly pushing their products and they don't want you to know the other options because they can't profit as much on them.
But even when people do get past these big business agendas and get to the truth about their own health they still find it difficult to change. After all, everyone knows they should eat better but few people do.
This is where the emotional part of eating is so critical to understand and where EFT can be so powerful. As EFT expert Carol Look always says "It's not about the food." (If you haven't read her weight loss with EFT program I recommend you do - it's great!).
EFT is so powerful in helping you to get past the emotional blocks that keep you going back to the food that isn't good for you. You know which foods I'm talking about...the junk food that makes you FEEL so good!
The problem is that it's like trying to take care of a 6 inch gash by covering it with a band aid. It's not going to stop the bleeding! It may feel better for a minute while you're putting it on...but as soon as you're done you'll realize that it's not enough...
So here's what I recommend. If you want to change your health...in a real way...than do these two things:
#1 - Learn the truth about the foods you eat and the drugs you take. You can start by looking at the trailer for our film "Simply Raw" at www.Rawfor30days.com below. Do your research. Learn for yourself. What you eat has a larger affect on your health than you think. If you want to learn about superfoods go to www.noblesuperfoods.com. I love this superfoods company. It is an MLM company, which I've never been a fan of...but their company is amazing (I know the owners) and the products are top of the line.
#2 - Use EFT to get yourself to eat healthy! If you're not eating healthy or are struggling to keep with any type of diet/lifestyle change than you need to work on the blocks that keep making you go back to your old habits. Start off with whatever comes to mind, such as "Even though I can't get myself to eat healthy I deeply and completely love and accept myself." Go with the flow and keep tapping.
